NESHAPs Survey
NESHAPs is shorthand for the National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants. This is a Federal EPA Regulation and is part of the Clean Air Act. It is the same regulation that requires you to have your vehicle tested for emissions. Whenever demolition or renovations occur, this law requires that contractors ensure that no hazardous materials are disturbed during these demolition or renovation activities.
